Boots are a staple for fall and for a girl who is used to wearing flip flops year round (and still tries to), I’m still working on figuring out what I like and what works for my personal style. I have been on the lookout for a pair of booties for at least a month. And possibly during the entire fall and winter season last year. I actually began writing this post while still searching, and finished it up a few days later after having purchased #9 at Old Navy on our way back from Vegas over the weekend.

I try to live a life that doesn’t put too much focus on material things so I don’t do many posts like this. However, at the moment I’m trying to purge most of my wardrobe and design a simple, easy to mix/match, intentional wardrobe. On top of that I’ve come up with sort of a fashion philosophy that I want to try to follow. First and foremost, I believe that fashion without cruelty and without spending a fortune is more attainable than we choose to believe.

As I move forward with my wardrobe overhaul I’ll share my progress as well as my fashion philosophy.

Which pair is your favorite? Do you have a fashion philosophy?
